What I bought in January (and December)

No-buy month? Don't know her.

Like many of you, I started out January with the best of intentions. Instead of Dry January (which I managed to stick with for 17 days last year), I decided to do a No-buy month. Overall I was very well-behaved—the retailers went HAM with the sale emails this month, and I’m proud of myself for ignoring them. But I did end up buying a few things, most of which were justified. Well, maybe half. Anyway, here’s what made me fall off the shopping wagon.
